I bought my plane tickets on August 24 of last year, nearly 8 months ago. Seems kind of ridiculous, but I've been having such a good time planning, and now that I'm just a month away from departing on my trip, I am both excited and a little wistful, because although I leave in 4 weeks, I'll be back home in 7 weeks, and my trip will be behind me with nothing left to anticipate.
But for now, I'm heightening my anticipation, starting to make a checklist of things to do before I go, last things to buy, etc. And I'm watching the weather in my various destination cities.
Not great, not terrible, but it can only get better in a month, right? Every day like today in Seattle, I think, this is what it will be like next month in Copenhagen.
